There’s been a lot of stupid this week and it’s not even over. Between Hamsher’s petition to get Hadassah Lieberman removed from fundraising for cancer (WTF???) and Lisa Solod Warren’s moronic HuffPo article yesterday, I can only hope that bloggers have gotten out of their system. Leave the lunacy to the celebrities, please.
I wonder what it is about me that makes people always want to challenge me. I don’t mind a good discussion but as I get older, I’m finding it harder not roll my eyes at those people. There is a difference between “see it this way” and “you’re wrong”. I can state an opinion, usually with tongue planted firmly in cheek and get challenged. Meanwhile, others...

I think it’s the fact that there really are only 8 Christmas songs, with scores people doing their own variations is what gets me. And each variation sucks just a little more than the last one. Take ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’; after the Jackson 5 did it, there was no reason to do another cover. That hasn’t stopped tons of other people...
