I got this at Lucky 13, by Emily. She no longer works there, but she was incredible. I got the anchor to symbolize that nobody can hold me down; not friends, family, a guy, NOBODY.

this has got to be the sexiest picture of a woman i’ve seen in ages. it’s the hand, the hair, the neck, the hair on the neck, the slope of the shoulders. beautiful. :D

as far as the concept, not sure i’d want an anchor to show i can’t be held down. the art is sweet, tho….

Lord knows I complain about laundry, but I have to admit that it is kind of fun. That is, my kids make it fun. They love to throw away the dryer lint or start the washer. When I’m folding, they fight to help and mostly fold their own clothes. Then they race to see who could put away the most clothes the fastest. Best thing was earlier in the year when Alton first started helping. He’d take Daddy’s socks to the drawer. One by one. I’d have to save other clothes for him to put away later because Ilia would beat him to it. I’m treasuring these moments. I know the day will soon come when they will whine about helping. That’s when they start doing their own laundry.

I think it’s the fact that there really are only 8 Christmas songs, with scores people doing their own variations is what gets me. And each variation sucks just a little more than the last one. Take ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’; after the Jackson 5 did it, there was no reason to do another cover. That hasn’t stopped tons of other people (glares at Mariah Carey) from trying…and being annoying.

So, you’re telling me that so-and-so is talking shit about me. Great. First of all, I’m not 11. This is infantile. Secondly, what purpose do you serve? What is the point of your existence in my life. You’ve now told me something that clearly wasn’t meant for my ears. Am I supposed to react to that so you can go running back to the other person? Why do you think you have the right to even considering reacting defensively when I ask you, “What’s your point?” Simply by allowing someone to talk shit about me in your presence proves you are no friend.
